EN Hey guys! So I was in the shower while thinking about this subject and what to write so if you are a blogger or if you wanna become one I’m pretty sure you will enjoy this!

 

Let’s see some differences between what society sees a blogger as vs how we actually are!

1. Expectations: Writing and taking photos is the easiest part. Reality: It’s the hardest part.

So, don’t get me wrong. I LOVE what I’m doing and I’m pretty sure you are too. But it’s just shocking thinking that so many people think that having developing a little idea to an article or taking pictures is easy! Writing is a bit easier as most of us are writing our thoughts but it’s still time consuming. Taking pictures is also hard because it’s not like you only go out and shoot 3 pictures and don’t even get me started on editing them.

2. Expectations: Everything is free. Reality: It’s not free. 

This one is as true as it sounds! Most of the people HAVE no idea that it costs to own a domain, the theme you have on your blog also costs. The photography equipment. The software necessary to edit the pictures. In the end and probaly most important, your own time!

Let me make give you some numbers (Aprox.).

Domain & Hosting: Around 100$ a year. (Correct me if I’m wrong)

Theme: Around 70$

Photography Equipment: 500$ – or 30$ per Photoshoot with a photographer (Sometimes a friend helps you but you can’t let him do it for free forever).

Once again, your time. A blog post costs around 3-5 hours of work depending on how many pictures or inspiration you have!

 

3. Expectations: People think I win loads of money. Reality: I go to Starbucks once a week.

That’s just as it sounds.

4. If you are a fashion blogger you can probaly relate. Expectations: You look your best all day. All your clothes match even when sleeping. Reality: You are sitting in bed in your white Pjs and red shoes having a very messy hair (Not the messy hair that looks good) and thinking about a shower.

We all put so much effort into looking good in photos, having all of our clothes on point that everybody thinks we look that way all the time! Sometimes the best time is when we get real aka wearing no clothes or Pjs and watching Netflix all day.

5. Expectations: Your blog has high traffic all the time and everything is always smooth. Reality: Most frustrating thing is when you write a good post and doesn’t meet your audience you expected.

One of the things I didn’t know before becoming a blogger was that I HAD TO BE SOCIAL. I had to promote my own content because Google search engines will only do that just after a couple of years.

6. Expectations: A nice white work space we put on Instagram. Reality: The messiest place you ever seen.

Too bad I forgot to take a picture of the messy place I talked before but I feel like you all get it.

7. Expectations: We get to have what we want for free from a company. Reality: We are limited and not get to receive the whole shop for free.

Most of the bloggers don’t have that luxurious lifestyle you all see all over the social media but what we really get are some free stuff that we actually love but it’s not like we can choose 50 different things or so. We are also very limited and still have to buy stuff if we really think that suits our blog!

RO Salut! Deci, am fost in dus gandindu-ma la ce sa scriu pe acest subiect. Sunt sigur ca daca esti blogger sigur relatezi tot ce voi spune!

Asadar, let’s dig in!

1. Asteptari: Scrisul si pozele sunt cea ma usoara parte. Realitate: Sunt cea mai grea parte. 

Nu ma intelege gresit, IUBESC ceea ce fac si sunt sigur ca si tu. Dar e socant sa realizezi faptul ca multi oameni cred acest lucru. Nu e usor sa dezvolti o compunere dintr-o idee cat de mica ar fi ea. Scrisul e totusi putin mai usor pentru ca doar scriem ce gandim insa pozele chiar consuma mult timp deoarece nu e ca si cum te duci afara cu telefonul si faci 3 poze si le incarci pe internet.

2. Asteptari: Blogul e gratis. Realitate: Nu e gratis.

Majoritatea nu au idee cat costa sa ai un domeniu, o tema. Echipamentul photo! Software-ul necesar sa editezi pozele iar in final si cel mai important, propriul tau timp liber.

Ca sa dau niste numere aproximative:

Domeniu si host: Aproximativ 100 de dolari pe an!

Tema: In jurul a 70 de dolari.

Echipament photo: In jurul a 500 de dolari iar daca nu ai echipament in jurul a 30 de dolari pe sedinta foto. Daca te ajuta un prieten nu se pune deoarece va trebui sa ai echipament propriu odata si odata.

In final, timpul tau. O postare dureaza de la 3-5 ore fara sa punem in calcul si sedinta foto! Iar uneori dureaza si mai mult de 3-5 ore dar acest lucru depinde de ce gen de postare faci.

3. Asteptari: Castigi multi bani. Realitate: Te duci la Starbucks o data pe saptamana.

Acest lucru e exact cum suna.

4. Daca esti fashion blogger sigur vei putea relata acest lucru. Asteptare: Toate hainele tale se asorteaza si cand dormi. Realitate: Stai in pat in pijamalele tale albe si papuci rosi cu un par salbatic gandindu-te daca ar trebui sa faci un dus.

Punem foarte mult efort in a arata perfecti in poze, sa avem hainele asortate insa unii oameni cred ca aratam asa mereu! De cele mai multe ori cel mai frumos timp e cel in care stam in pat in pijamale si ne uitam la seriale toata ziua!

5. Asteptari: Trafic mare pe blog. Realitate: Un lucru frustrant cand scrii o postare buna si nu are audienta asteptata.

Unul dintre lucrurile ce nu le stiam inainte sa devin blogger a fost faptul ca trebuie sa fiu social. Google nu ma va ajuta in primii ani punandu-mi postarile pe prima pagina chiar daca aveam cuvintele cheie insa eu trebuie sa imi fac reclama singur.

6. Asteptari: Un loc de munca alb si aranjat precum e pe Instagram. Realitate: Cel mai murdar loc.

Pacat ca nu am facut poza si a mizeriei ci doar a spatiului frumos in care scriu.

7. Asteptari: Primim ce vrem pe gratis. Realitate: Suntem limitati si nu primim ce si cat vrem.

Majoritatea bloggerilor nu isi permit o viata de lux promovata pe internet dar ce primim sunt  anumite lucruri gratis ce chiar le iubim dar nu e ca si cum putem alege 50 de lucuri diferite sau un magazin intreg. Suntem si noi limitati si daca dorim ceva ce stim ca s-ar potrivi blogului mai bine noi ar trebui sa le cumparam!

 

Sper ca va place aceasta postare! Chiar m-am bucurat sa o scriu. Adica, toate postarile sunt o placere dar aceasta a fost mai speciala hahaha.
