These days there are a lot of stuff that can affect your productivity. Comparing yourself to others. Constantly checking your phone and so on!
Sometimes procrastinating could mean that you don’t like what you have to do OR you have no inspiration/motivation to do it! That’s okay because humans tend to forget why they start to do something, they lose their motivation so they start to think about something else. However, I have 4 tips for you that should help you get more productive, like right now:
1.Think about why you started.
For example, remember when you heard somebody talking about how great their career is? In that moment you felt motivated and inspired enough to start doing the same thing. You keep doing it and keep doing it but suddenly you get bored of it and you forgot why you even started doing that. Just remember yourself the FINAL result and not the current one! Remember, pain is temporary.
2.Stop comparing yourself
Don’t compare your halfway to somebody else’s finish line! Each person has its road and you have to look up yours!
Grass is always greener on the other side on fence. Take care of yours.
Don’t discourage yourself by comparing yourself. Keep working hard!
3. Two things at the same time
If you don’t like one thing you are doing, do it while, for example, listen to your favorite playlist. It will make you feel way better! You get to be productive and do what you like at the same time!
4.Take control
Sometimes people tend to discourage themselves if they don’t have control over a situation. Take control even over the tiniest thing. This way it will motivate you to do your work!
